LYNN ASHCROFT "HELLBILLY"

The HELLBILLY Knucklehead is finally for sale. It has been in my collection since it was built in 2003, it is still brand new and has not been titled or ridden except for initial tuning and testing after completion. I have had it in a few show/events, (Sturgis, The Grand Nat'l. Roadster Show, and some western states shows in Colo. and Oregon). It was garnered a full photo layout in V-TWIN magazine after completion.

The engine is an S&S Super Stock bottom end & rotating assy. The barrels and heads were cast by Anders Nygren of Sweden (Flathead Power), displacing 88CI. It has dual magnetos and runs an S&S Shorty carb. The transmission is a 5 speed kicker in a 4 speed box.

The frame is a 1938 repo Knucklehead by Weerd Bros. It has springer forks with the drag bars cut in half & welded to the top of the tree for that flat tracker look.

The theme of the bike is of an "Eight-Ball" with that 1947 Old-School feel and look. The rear fender is a springer that was widened to fit the 300mm tire & wheel. It is an award winning bike and would be fun to ride and show.

It was made as a one of a kind, not to be duplicated, bike with Lynn Ashcroft's iconoclastic creativity.
