Highly modified cr250

$1,700.00
I'm selling my 2002 Honda cr250.
Two owner bike, I bought this from a pro-racer at the end of his season when the new models came in. This was the "back-up" bike. All the goodies the race bike got, with very little track time. About the only thing stock on this bike is the frame.
________
-Ported and Polished
-V-force reeds
-"Works" series PC pipe and new PC Silencer
-Professionally built works suspension.
-N-Style graphics, and no slip seat cover.
-TAG CR high bend bars, and billet mounts.
-Almost new stainless Pro Circuit silencer. I always rubbed the pipe down with WD-40 after washing, it's not rusted out. Very few dings, doesn't affect performance.
Put an entire Wiseco top-end kit in less than 10 hours ride-time ago. Bearings, Piston, Rings, gaskets, etc. I believe it's still the stock bore.
This bike was stored right, in a heated garage with Sea-foam and Stabil 3 years ago. It's only been raced one time since 2003 (when I bought it). I've probably put less than 50 hours on the bike since I bought it, and have kept up on maintenance.
Fired right up today with a new plug. There was some hesitation in the carb from sitting so long, will clear up when the seafoam works its way out I'm sure.
All this bike needs is basically what every bike should receive after sitting for the winter.
I notice the springs on the exhaust pipe have lost their tension, and the pipe doesn't seat tightly to the jug anymore. Smoke leaks from that area, change out the o-ring and two springs. I will probably replace this myself, if I don't sell it before the parts come in.
The tire tread is about 75%, but they are now dry-rotted. Will hold air, but should be replaced before ridden hard.
The rear rim does have a small crack in it, which was there when I bought it. It's never gotten worse, so I haven't messed with it.
Bike is missing one radiator shroud insert (plastic) ,and a crack in the rear number plate. Plastic was on the bike when I bought it in 03, its not new. Still looks good, just want to be as detailed as possible.
Taking up too much space in the garage, someone will use this bike more than me.
I hung onto this bike while I sold the others in case I got back into riding. It's not happening, so heres the last one. Everything I've accumulated over the years, will be offered for sale to buyer before I ebay it off.
Trailer chocks, helmets, boots, roost protectors, etc.
I'm asking $1700 obo.
Bike is located in Fulton, Illinois. Approximately 2.5 hours from Chicago, or 45 minutes from Davenport Iowa.
Only accept cash payment. Possible trades (non motorcycle), let me know what you've got!
Any questions, you can email me at "apbtrock@yahoo.com" or leave a message at 1-563-357-4881. Will return calls when I get home from work.
More pics available on request.
Thanks.
